Augustinus Bader’s new face masks are as calming and cooling as you’d expect from a brand responsible for one of the most popular luxury face creams of the decade. The hydrogel material clings to my skin without lifting around the edges or sliding down my face during the 15 to 20 minutes I wear it.

For those familiar with Augustinus Bader’s under-eye patches, this mask extends the same level of benefits to your entire complexion. After wearing the mask for a full 20 minutes, I removed it to reveal skin that felt plump, hydrated, and smooth. It’s worth noting that I tested this mask in the dead of winter, when I’d been loading up my skin with hydrating face serums and deeply moisturizing face creams and was still left with a complexion that felt tight and dehydrated. Yes, the Augustinus Bader face mask is designed to support an anti-aging skin care routine, but I found it particularly helpful for quashing chronic dryness.
