The FlexStyle began to take off on TikTok almost immediately after its 2022 launch — it’s amassed hundreds of millions of views on the app since. Where the FlexStyle is an air styler that does its best work on damp hair, Shark’s newest tool, the FlexFusion, has a suite of attachments that work on wet and dry hair. This means that you can use the tool to blow dry your hair on wash day and also wield it to straighten unwanted texture or add curl on dry hair between shampoos. Simply select wet or dry mode, click on your attachment of choice, and the tool intelligently calibrates the heat and airflow settings for an efficient styling session without heat damage.

To foster follicle health, the FlexFusion includes a Scalp Shield Mode. This new-to-Shark setting adjusts the temperature to 122 degrees while maintaining a strong airflow, preventing damage or irritation on the hair follicles — essential for healthy hair growth.

The tool has two main configurations: One with a hair straightening attachment and one without. (Note that you can choose between curly or straight attachment collections for each, with four total variations of the tool available). The Wet or Dry Fusion Air Straightener attachment combines airflow with lightly heated ceramic plates, allowing you to take your hair from soggy to dry and sleek in just a few passes.
