Taylor Swift is living in our head rent-free, what with the release of “Life of a Showgirl” last week. Yesterday, though, she captivated our attention even more through an Instagram post granting a sneak peek into the process of how she wrote all the songs on the album, guided by producers Max Martin and Shellback.

Amidst Swift’s pink knit pullover, oval sunnies, and floral appliqué denim, we couldn’t help but notice what dotted the singer’s cheeks in the very first shot: none other than Fazit’s Makeup Patches, which she famously wore to the Chiefs versus Saints game on October 7, 2024, amplifying her tartan Vivienne Westwood set, alongside a signature bold-red lip and smoky eye.
For this year’s Amazon Prime Big Deal Days — running from October 7 to 8 — the Swift-approved Fazit Makeup Patches are up to 30 percent off. The best part? You can get them in a vast array of colorways, from the Sprinkled Speckles (featuring a multihued assortment of stars and dots) to the “Life of a Showgirl”–coded orange iteration from Fazit’s Team Spirit collection, for going the extra mile while showing off the fact that you’re a card-carrying Swiftie.

Right after Swift’s 2024 endorsement of the now-viral Fazit product, the brand experienced an over-1,000-percent increase in sales and web traffic overnight, according to Fazit cofounder Aliett Buttelman’s interview with WWD for a previous story. “Urban Outfitters sold out… and now, every retailer is reaching out to us,” Buttelman said.
This is colloquially referred to as the “Taylor Swift effect,” which has also catapulted to fame AAPI- and women-owned jewelry brands the celebrity has championed in the past. That being said, it’s hard to believe the Fazit Makeup Patches are not only presently in stock after Swift’s most recent Instagram appearance in them but also on sale. Consider this the ideal excuse for snagging them ahead of Halloween — to pair with your showgirl-inspired glitter bodysuit when you’re cosplaying the “Opalite” singer or to wear out to your next date night.

Applying the patches is as easy as swiping on Swift’s lipstick-of-choice in her new era — the Nars Lipstick in the shade Morocco. Simply place them sticky side down over your cheekbones, dab the patches with a wet towel for 60 seconds (like a temporary tattoo of yore), and peel off to reveal a glittering look. Waterproof, sweat-proof, and able to be wiped off clean with a dash of makeup remover, your newest favorite beauty product will be a low-lift way to amp up the glam this season, no matter if you’re matching it to a game-day ‘fit or a chainmail dress.
Looking to doll up your collarbones instead? Fazit’s Decollatage Speckles, also at 20 percent off for a limited time, are calling your name.

“I can still make the whole place shimmer,” Swift sings in her 2022 release “Bejeweled.” Thanks to Fazit’s sale, you’ll be doing a lot of that in the near future.
