All of the experts we consulted agree that there are three essential factors to keep in mind. “When looking for a front closure bra, the three most important considerations are fit, comfort, and support,” Scarlett shares. “Then you can select the color and fabric of your front closure bra.”

Fit: Much like purchasing any bra, fit is the most important factor to consider. “We recommend getting an expert bra fitting to find the proper fit, says Campello. “We have a team of bra fit experts who can guide you in the right direction for your size and shape.”
Support: Like back closure bras, front closure bras are designed to provide support. The bands on the bra are softer, but still help to lift breasts and create a smooth finish under t-shirts and other tops. Some bras also work to reduce bounce and movement that can cause breast pain and discomfort. “Think about what features are most important for you such as underwire or support,” Campello says. “It should fit comfortably and not put strain on your back or shoulders.”
