Coach is the name on every fashion insider’s lips right now with its high-impact Tabby placements in the TikTok-viral third season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” fortuitous WNBA partnership, and recent bag sightings in the hands of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” cast members. Now, though, the iconic label is soft-launching the fall season with an intentionally worn-in take on its hottest handbags for a vintage-inspired look. Having recently introduced its Tabby Shoulder Bag and Empire Carryall Bag in Loved Leather iterations, Coach is granting style-savvy dressers an easy way to upgrade their transitional-weather aesthetics while tapping into the latest trends of the day.

The Best Work Bags for Women to Wear This Fall
The Bella Hadid–approved Brooklyn Shoulder Bag has already received the Loved Leather touch some time ago, to much fanfare, so we’re especially thrilled to see these particular silhouettes treated to a special rub-off technique that reveals their base color and, like Nike’s new “dirty” Air Force 1 model, imitates the look of a loved accessory that’s been donned countless times across many seasons of life. What’s surprising is that Coach chose some of its most internet-famous bag styles for this season-appropriate upgrade… not that we’re complaining!
Reviewing the new distressed Loved Leather collection from @Coach ✨ This is one of my favorite collections to come out in a while. I loved how they turned out- each piece is truly stunning #coachny #handbagtiktok #coachbag #coachempirecarryall
The Empire Carryall Bag 48, for instance, became a veritable sensation last fall, racking up millions of searches, selling out just as fast, and acting as a carte blanche for Jane Birkin–esque personalization (in the form of bag charms, chic scarf additions, and beyond). Now, you can grab the roomy, structured catchall in a gently faded Black Brown, with included silver charms that feature a skull, a T-rex, and a feather. The glove-tanned leather it’s swathed in, of a top quality as per Coach’s dedication to fine craftsmanship, is in line with the textural experimentation that was seen across fall 2025 runways. From Coach‘s own leather trenches, furry animal charms, and sequin-bedecked frocks to Isabel Marant‘s interplay of lace, sheer mesh, and silver grommet–clad pieces, it’s clear that contrasting fabrics will reign supreme in fashion as the weather turns chillier, and Coach’s Loved Leather picks will only work to enrich all of your visually stimulating outfit formulations.
While the 48 size of the Empire Carryall is capacious enough to house a 16-inch laptop, with an inside pocket for holding essentials like the lip gloss you can’t live without, those who prefer something smaller for their everyday pursuits don’t have to sacrifice Coach’s fit-for-fall leather fabrication to attain it. Worn-in leather is also now a finish option for the Empire Carryall 40 and 34, the latter of which is a newer arrival and was toted around by Anne Hathaway (erm, Andy Sachs) as she was filming a Central Park funeral scene alongside Stanley Tucci. This is the second Coach handbag identified on the movie’s set this summer, with Hathaway’s character choosing the sold-out Vintage Metropolitan Briefcase for her nine-to-five.

She’s not the only A-lister with a soft spot for the east-west style, as the Coach Empire Carryall Bag 34 flew off online shelves almost as soon as it was worn outside by Bella Hadid in March: a buzzy appearance that came on the heels of Emily Ratajkowski taking the ultra-attractive handbag with her to Coach’s fall 2025 presentation. We have no doubt that your favorite stars will soon get their hands on the Empire Carryall Bag’s latest manifestation across various sizes, ideal for rounding out corp-core stylings and hauling everywhere this fall: from weekend getaways to evening errand runs.
Own multiple Coach Tabby bags in perfect-for-spring pastels and think it’s fine time to shift the mood for the upcoming season? Luckily for you, Coach’s Loved Leather offering comes in Tabby form, too, and is taken to new heights through the purse’s sumptuous quilting. The fusion of the leather’s layered richness with the bag’s gleaming, gilded hardware (plus an all-new silver feather charm that will remind you to be as free as a bird) is utterly stunning and timeless. Even though the quintessential Tabby has been rebranded multiple times — with Coach unveiling a lip-print version last winter, debuting the petite-and-precious Times Square Tabby in its fall 2024 collection, and dropping the Coach Chain Tabby this year in a range of pleasing hues — we’re happy to see that the Tabby Shoulder Bag 20 in Loved Leather With Quilting preserves all of the bag’s original bells and whistles (like a strap for crossbody or over-the-shoulder wear). And in case you haven’t yet secured what remains one of Coach’s most-loved products in the handbag category, now’s the perfect time, as the Loved Leather Tabby is classic enough to be an “of the moment” purchase no matter the prevailing trends.

Interested in going all out with your Loved Leather finds from Coach? Don’t miss out on the brand’s extensive charm and accessory collection, featuring everything from new releases like the Small Tennis Racket Bag Charm to Audrey Hepburn–coded skinny scarves. Courtesy Coach
With the brand’s vast selection of bag add-ons, you can also have a little fun with your pre-fall buy. Dare we suggest investing in the floral-inspired Short Jewelry Chain Strap, released in the spring, or, for something more runway-aligned, going with the Triple Chain Strap that mimics the chain layering trend currently spearheaded by fashion houses like Issey Miyake? Whatever customization route you choose to go with for your fresh Empire Carryall Bag or Tabby, it’s bound to become your best acquisition of 2025 — helping you channel the style of Instagram’s It-girls and fictional magazine editors alike.
