Earlier this year, Coach, helmed by creative director Stuart Vevers, walked the Met Gala carpet as part of the look du jour of WNBA’s Paige Bueckers. She showed up to the event in a Vevers-designed suit — all paint splatters and detailed beading — that had onlookers at home scrambling to find an exact match online. The same thing happened even more recently with Angel Reese’s pink-powered Coach varsity jacket, which she donned to the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, dripped out from head to toe in the color.

Alas, these two style moments were custom, but there’s never been a better time to hop on the Coach bandwagon, what with its soaring popularity: spearheaded by key celebrity placements (Lola Tung just became the company’s newest Global Ambassador) and campaigns that stick the landing.
If that Tabby or tote you have on the radar feels a little too ubiquitous, though, we’re here to share a workaround — one that will get you a more one-of-one bag while benefitting the planet.
Enter: Coach’s (Re)Loved program, which launched in 2021 with the goal of promoting circularity in the industry by giving previously owned Coach bags a second life. In the brand’s own words, it’s “a circular ecosystem for refurbishing, reimagining, and recycling pre-loved and damaged Coach products.”
This well-oiled machine couldn’t operate without the direction and dedication of Coach’s team of artisans. Having received a given bag, they proceed to upcycle it in a way that makes the sum of the parts greater than the whole. That hole in the leather gets treated to a funky patch, for instance, while a worn-out spot might undergo a polishing process to make it shine again.
The outcome of all this careful handiwork? “Never-to-be-repeated styles,” per Coach, which you’ll discover cost less than their original versions found elsewhere on the Coach site. A special component of (Re)Loved is Coach Remade, which applies to items that have been thoroughly run down by their former owners and so are shaped by the craftspeople into completely fresh, unrecognizable accessories like leather charms or pouches.
So too will you find multiple vintage handbags from Coach in its (Re)Loved lineup, whose lineage might go as far back as the ’40s, when the brand was founded out of New York. The “meticulous rejuvenation” of these rare beauties takes many days and the skills of a master restorer, as Coach puts it, but the end result is well worth it. You’ll be carrying a slice of history, after all!
Coach puts the spotlight on its devoted team of artisans, who come from all walks of life and corners of the earth — pouring their expertise and creativity into giving Coach products a second chance. Courtesy Coach
buy coach (re)loved bestsellers
Have a Coach purse of your own that it’s time to part with, no matter how attached you got to it across the years… or decades? You can exchange it for a credit, to be redeemed for your next favorite sartorial savior.
Shopping Coach’s (Re)Loved section is easy — no IRL trip to a store near you or jumping through hurdles required. Simply peruse its dedicated product category online, add to cart all the one-of-a-kind (this time, it’s not a buzzword) creations that catch your eye, and become the proud owner of a Coach bag with a past. How alluring is that?
Based on a recent sustainability study, shared by Coach, “buying a (Re)Loved product can reduce an item’s carbon footprint by 76 percent compared to buying new.” If that doesn’t inspire you to pull out your credit card, we don’t know what will.
10 Best Handbags & Accessories to Shop at Coach (Re)Loved
Coach Reloved Crosby Business Tote
$725
The once prim-and-proper silhouette of Coach’s Crosby Business Tote is upgraded with more personality in its revived state: coming to you with silvery rivets down the front, a refreshed lining, as well as leather that’s been edgestained, spot-painted, and thoroughly conditioned. Peep that chic logo charm affixed to the handy hauler’s hardware, too. The bag has enough space for a full-size laptop and can be carried hands-free. What’s not to (re)love?

Coach Reloved Alie Shoulder Bag in Lizard
$1,550
You’d similarly be remiss not to cosign the Alie Shoulder Bag, which typically boasts a smooth, unadorned finish and boxy build but this time around surprises shoppers with a tonal fringe border and genuine lizard covering that justifies its four-figure price (call it a strategic rebrand).
This newfound texture marvelously complements the shoulder bag‘s gleaming bar closure, depicting a horse and carriage, and fun-loving bauble attached to the strap. Not too big and not too small, the reptilian Alie will take you from neighborhood walk to drinks with friends without an accessory overhaul needed.

Coach Restored Pillow Tabby Shoulder Bag 26
$375
Name a single person who wouldn’t want to own a Tabby, we’ll wait. At this point, the bag model has completely taken over the world in its various manifestations: appearing in the hands of Bella Hadid, Fashion Week’s front-row attendees, and your most-watched influencers alike. We adore the anchored-in-the-archives, quiet-luxury handbag as much as the next girl… especially when it prioritizes sustainability vis-à-vis Coach’s (Re)Loved methodology.
The Tabby you’re looking at is a puffed-up iteration flaunting plush leather swathed in an enigmatic, moody black: leading to an interplay of the edgy and the feminine that actually works in context of the larger whole. This petite-but-mighty going-out essential, which was only gently worn in its past life, makes a statement without resorting to extremes. With those two detachable strap options, wearing it is a choose your own adventure (and thus a treat).

Coach Reloved Vintage Legacy West Demi Zip Bag
$825
These days, Coach is deliberately leaning into an inherently urban sensibility with youthful messaging and punk-meets-Americana collections (its fall 2026 runway is a prime example). This Vintage Legacy West Demi, back and better from 2002, promotes the concept with a smattering of detailed star appliqué. Sans such touches, the red-colored piece would make less of a visual impact; now, it’s bound to become your latest conversation starter and outfit amplifier.

Coach Restored Tabby Messenger 19 With Braid
$375
She is beauty, she is grace, she is a Restored Coach Tabby Messenger that can singlehandedly revive your summertime wardrobe (just you wait). Dolled up with intricate hand-braiding on that Buttercup-hued, pebbled leather, the crossbody reaches into the 1970s for sartorial guidance and inspiration. We recommend showing it off with everything from slinky LBDs to casual tee-and-jeans combos on city streets.

Coach Vintage Soho Lafayette Bag
$795
This vintage wonder has been “lovingly restored” by masters of the craft in Coach’s workshops — allowing it to be worn, and cherished, by more people while ensuring the bag doesn’t end up in a landfill.
The Soho Lafayette Bag first entered the Coach universe in 1997, making quite the first impression with its smooth, supple glovetanned leather; buckle-clad handle; tote-like structure; and timelessly attractive shade. Luckily for you, such quality construction no longer needs to be left in the 20th century, and you have Coach to thank for that.

Coach Reloved Bandit Belt Bag
$650
All set on shoulder slingers but still have an elevated fanny pack on your wishlist? Say “yes” to the one above, which, in line with the tenets of the (Re)Loved program, was given a second chance (and a stunning makeover). You’ll instantly fall in love with its colorblocked body made up of repurposed scrap fabric from other Coach bags, multifunction pocket, pushpin closure, natural luster, and proportions that will let you slip even “the largest iPhone,” according to the brand, inside.
As for that strap? It’s guaranteed to accommodate your bulkiest outerwear come winter.

Coach Reloved Tabby Chain Clutch
$595
Another delightful Tabby selection, this Reloved Tabby Chain Clutch has a highly textural, vivid tweed pocket that serves as its pièce de résistance. More to enjoy: a glinting chain strap doling out multiple possibilities for wear, accompanying dust bag (also composed of recycled materials), cutesy cluster of tags on the side, and luxury-exuding sheen plus graininess. It’s equal parts grown-up and carefree — a balance worth emulating.

Coach Reloved Kira Crossbody Bag in Colorblock Signature Canvas
$450
While this might seem like a compact wristlet at first glance, don’t be fooled: Coach’s Reloved Kira Crossbody clocks in at 7.5 inches in length and has a four-inch height. To cover up previous imperfections, Coach employees sprinkled it with an assortment of patches and pins, including one that looks to be a penguin wrapped in a scarf. Both the webbing strap and central leather overlay evoke a varsity vibe, making the Kira an apt back-to-school (or grad) gift.
The object’s coated canvas exterior is water-resistant, lightweight, durable, and even more of a looker in embellished form. Need we say more?

Coach Reloved Hutton Clutch With Weaving
$575
Last but certainly not least is the Coach Reloved Hutton Clutch With Weaving. Epitomizing the beauty of woven accessories, it merges a geometric front with a whipstitched handle, heart patches, and a calf leather charm to create something that’s very hard not to spend your money on, much less turn away from.
If you’ve long been on the hunt for a standout clutch, you’ll realize that this one is sold at a more affordable price point than many online counterparts. With Coach’s (Re)Loved initiative, that’s just status quo. Welcome to the club.
