Last year, the woman, the myth, and the legend Dolly Parton shared the following sentiment with WWD in an interview: “I want to look cheap. That’s my look. I want to look a little bit, you know, trashy… I like the overdone. I like the bleached hair… If somebody doesn’t like the way you look, say, ‘To hell with you. This is me.'” The 80-year-old is taking this confidence and injecting it right into the vein of her latest sartorial endeavor: a spring 2026 collection with Good American, flaunting country-coded jeans, shorts, denim dresses, and poplin shirts that you’ll be rewearing over and over this season.

This marks the third time the singer has come together with Khloé Kardashian’s circa-2016 denim label, which prides itself on inclusivity, top-quality materials, and ethical production. When the partnership debuted last spring, its so-called “Joleans” — a cheeky pun on one of Parton’s most famous songs — achieved instant virality. Now, Good American is extending that success with an all-new line, punctuated by intricate embroidery, prints that take a page from bandanas, and special Dolly touches.
For instance, she considers butterflies a symbol of her childhood in Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains. Across decades, the emblem has been spotted on everything from the sign of her amusement park, Dollywood, to the names of multiple Parton ballads (1974’s “Love Is Like a Butterfly”; 2025’s “Butterfly” with the Zac Brown Band). Most recently, this motif has landed on Good American’s just-arrived Dolly Butterfly Top, which is selling out of sizes as we speak.

“With this Dolly’s Joleans collection, we took a little bit of my past and gave it new life for today. When someone puts these on, I want them to feel bold, beautiful, and completely themselves,” Parton shared in a press release.
The fresh silhouettes are bound to look attractive on anyone but will be especially up your alley if you, like Parton, have a soft spot for all things Americana. The Extreme Flare Jeans here sit at the intersection of “glam” and “honky tonk”: blending Good American’s signature innovations like super-stretchy fabric, tummy-smoothing tech, and a gap-proof waistband with unique details like overexaggerated flare and artful seams that elongate the legs. And if you’re stumped on what to wear to Coachella, Stagecoach, or Lollapalooza, the never-before-seen threads also demystify festival dressing — given that pieces such as the Dolly Slim Fit Denim Shirt look like the fashion equivalents of an acoustic country single (with Parton behind the guitar, of course).

While Good American x Dolly Parton offerings a few seasons back prioritized prints like gingham, your closet will receive a hearty dose of paisley patterning this time around, adorning form-hugging poplin shirts, corset-inspired poplin tanks, and the like. The aforementioned top embroidered with butterflies and flowers is another standout close to Parton’s heart, and in case you live in a place where the start of spring means skipping right past jeans and going straight to shorts, the collection has numerous selections in that department. The Dolly Good Girlfriend Cheeky Shorts are a must-have: featuring a warm weather–ready two-inch inseam, two wash options (bold white or the timeless medium blue), and a roomier hem that won’t suffocate your thighs.

With a name like “Joleans,” though, you better believe the capsule’s pièce de résistance is all those full-scale denim styles that manage to transcend the trends du jour — be it baggy, straight-leg, or low-rise — and instead follow their own set of rules. By far the most eye-catching is the Dolly Joleans Bootcut High Rise Jeans pick, whose flair for the dramatic becomes evident as soon as you lay eyes on those cutouts and embellished buckles.

“I cannot compete with you,” Parton sings to the imaginary, man-stealing Jolene in her 1973 smash hit, and we can confirm that nothing can compete with this particular pair of jeans where personality is concerned. For something more corporate-approved, though, turn to the Dolly Joleans Straight Jeans (available in Petite) or the Dolly Joleans Good Legs Flare Jeans in Vintage White: eager to not only enhance your natural curves but complement wardrobe go-tos like light cashmere sweaters, glossy ankle boots, and even springtime trenches.
