If something about this cultural crossover episode feels familiar, that’s the whole point. Bieber has been repping Gap’s ’90’s-coded, low-rise jean silhouette with almost-religious devotion since last year: pairing the laid-back, undeniably sexy style with everything from off-white tube tops and cropped tanks to Dior sweatshirts and leather jackets.

These placements (likely orchestrated by none other than Gap’s creative director Zac Posen) have sent fans and fashionistas alike into a frenzy as they tried to locate the exact model she flaunted — seemingly around the clock. And as of July 16, you can shop not just one but two of Bieber’s favorite vintage Gap jeans, leveled up with rare, never-before-seen details like custom washes, “1996” touches on the hardware and back patch that reference her birth year, and the A-lister’s own signature found inside the pocket lining.

Both selections are selling for $89.95, putting them squarely in the affordable-luxury category (affordable because most denim these days is priced in the three figures; luxury because of the jeans’ sumptuous, rigid, 100-percent cotton fabrications and thoughtful craftsmanship).

And both are about to make your ensembles that much more trend-aligned, so long as you act fast and add your desired washes to cart (there are six options in total across the two styles) before they’re gone in mere hours — a very real possibility, considering the hype Hailey Bieber x Gap has already received in prior days.

“Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically,” the collection’s 29-year-old muse shared in a press release. “1996 was the year I was born, and I get a lot of style inspiration from the ’90s because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the collection to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, nostalgic, and personal.”

The campaign’s imagery gives further insight into Posen and Bieber’s mutual intention for this launch: to help shoppers teleport to a simpler time while being reminded of its distinct sartorial ethos.

In some shots, Bieber is wearing minimal makeup and no shirt — dressed only in her co-created Gap jeans. In others, she looks straight at the camera, hair slightly tousled. Elsewhere, Bieber is showing off flip-flops underneath the denim. The end result “nod[s] to Gap’s iconic ’90s fashion imagery through clean studio visuals and subtle styling references,” the brand says.

The release’s teaser video, too, is a nostalgia play. Bieber loads a CD into an old-school player just as “Linger” by The Cranberries starts filling the space. Clips then reveal her lounging in an inflatable chair, filing her nails, calling from a landline, and taking mirror selfies with a point-and-shoot. A voice-over in the background, meanwhile, claims the ’90s were defined by personal style and “the perfect pair of jeans.”
