On Wednesdays, we wear pink, but on Monday, January 8, Lindsay Lohan looked simply stunning in black on the red carpet for the “Mean Girls” premiere — a sexy, long-sleeve cutout black dress with crystal embroidery by Alexandre Vauthier, to be exact. The pointed-shouldered, 1940’s-esque dress — a variation of a gown featured in the French label’s spring 2023 couture runway show — was accessorized with sparkly diamond jewelry from Melis Goral and Muzo Emerald Columbia; shiny Giuseppe Zanotti Cohralise patent-leather, pointed-toe pumps; and a Roger Vivier Nightlily crystal-buckle broche clutch that we couldn’t keep our keys off of.

This was a big night for La Lohan, and there’s no doubt that her look — accoutrements included — was carefully crafted for her moment back in the spotlight. For one of her first red-carpet appearances since giving birth this past July to her son, Luai, the new mom delivered old Hollywood glamour from head to toe, showing off her slender physique and reminding her adoring fans of her impeccable style. After all, she’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom.

As Y2K-fashion fanatics might also remember, Lohan’s lust-worthy assortments of designer handbags were front and center for the actress’ biggest trend-setting outfits that still resurface today on dozens of Instagram style accounts and hundreds of Pinterest boards. We have no doubt that the Queen B’s Roger Vivier clutch will be just as memorable for being totally “fetch”.
