Pamela Anderson looked utterly charming when she stepped out for Pandora’s Talisman charm collection launch event last night, opting for a long-sleeved little black dress finished with a butter-yellow collar. The ultimate outfit component that managed to make “The Last Showgirl” actress look equal parts sophisticated and head-turning? Her choice of footwear: Nomasei’s Gattaca Pump swathed in glossy, patent calf leather, which represents the popular French brand’s first-ever venture into the stiletto category.

According to Nomasei, the pump was five whole years in the making, informed by its co-founder Paule Tenaillon’s expertise in designing tango heels. And if you know anything about this dance style, you’re well aware of how important comfort-forward shoes are to executing each of its moves properly and gracefully.
Featuring an ultra-supportive profile, thanks to a slim heel that’s positioned precisely under the heel and pays dividends in stability, Nomasei’s Gattaca is the kind of footwear pick that you’ll be tempted to keep on all day — instead of running back home to swap it out for more comfortable options like sneakers. Comfort is further secured here through a buckle that adapts to all foot widths, a memory foam–powered insole that will have you racking up fatigue-free miles this fall, and a 100-percent patent calf leather composition that’s soft enough to never cause blisters.

While Anderson went with the style’s black shade to match her frock and play off her jewelry of the evening (necklaces and Roman coin–inspired charms from the aforementioned Pandora Talisman drop), you can also shop it in a pearl-embossed white that will infuse every last one of your fall ‘fits — already punctuated by sumptuous leather, faux fur, denim, and suede — with an extra bit of textural interest.
Strappy heels have been trending in the past few months, co-signed by everyone from Margot Robbie and Meagan Good to Halle Bailey and Serena Williams, as part of special-event and red-carpet attire. The reason for the style’s chokehold on A-listers and the fashion set alike? It’s incredibly versatile, often bedecked by attractive buckles, and interpreted in unique ways by almost every major shoe brand. As for Nomasei, the Gattaca (a cheeky tribute to the ’90s-chic aesthetic of the Uma Thurman–fronted hit film by the same name) is its debut in the stiletto category, and we couldn’t be more excited.

A relative newbie onto the luxury footwear scene, having been launched in 2019 by two ex-Chloé designers, Nomasei strives to fuse sustainability with upscale and markedly French sensibilities. Rooted in the belief that a capsule selection of wardrobe essentials is better than chasing the latest trends and stuffing shoe racks full of pieces you’ll soon forget about, Nomasei’s key styles are not only timeless but also informed by the tenets of femininity and relaxed sophistication. This can be witnessed in everything from its Bella Hadid– and Blake Lively–worn loafers to its over-the-knee boots sported on stage by Suki Waterhouse and the studded Adora Sandals Sarah Jessica Parker calls her own. Designed in Paris and produced in Montopoli, Italy, each Nomasei offering — fit for occasions spanning weddings, nights out, and everyday moments — exudes the kind of preppiness that’s reigning supreme when it comes to fall 2025 style trends.
Anderson is the definition of a tastemaker these days, constantly stunning with her no-makeup makeup looks and Old Hollywood–inspired getups. Consider Nomasei’s Gattaca Pump the latest Anderson-approved obsession that our editors are adding to cart as we speak. And if the starlet’s out-of-stock Flamingo Estate pickles are any indication, you only have a short window of time in which to score the shoe that’s already going, going, gone.
