The stylish set has long looked to nobility for social cues and fashion cues alike, with legions of royals inspiring everything from the dresses we wear to galas, to the hats we sport for… well, sports. Princess Diana was known for her elegant yet approachable style, while Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has helped raise the profile of contemporary designers from the U.S., UK and beyond.
But the latest royal fashion icon isn’t a glamorous princess or maximalist monarch, but rather a petit Prince — more specifically, His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales.

The Best Round-Cut Diamond Engagement Rings to Shop Online Now
The 12-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton (the Princess of Wales) has made headlines for his prep school-meets-pre-teen style, most recently turning heads at Wimbledon, where George was spotted attending the men’s final in a fitted navy suit, pale blue dress shirt, striped tie and a pair of retro-esque sunglasses. The Prince is making a case for young men to wear suits again, albeit in a less stuffy manner. Though he was battling a heatwave, George knows the key to playing it cool is by pairing a suit with the right accessories.
AS SEEN ON PRINCE GEORGE
Raen Clyve Sunglasses
$205
Prince George was seen wearing the “Clyve” sunglasses from California brand, Raen, at Wimbledon. George wore these unisex shades in a “honey” colorway, with green polarized lenses.
The Raen sunglasses feature a unique hexagonal shape that ups the style quotient from generic round frames. The medium width and gentle browline of the sunglasses make them a flattering fit on all head shapes and sizes. At just $205, they’re surprisingly affordable for a pair of hand-crafted shades, and a cool pick up for both the Prince and royal watchers alike.

LUXE LOAFERS
Tod’s Suede Loafers
$825
Prince George also paired his navy suit with a pair of Tod’s “loafers in Suede” while attending the Gentlemen’s Singles Final at Wimbledon, pulling off a ‘fit that would look just as good on gentlemen three times his age.
Made in Italy, these iconic slip-on loafers feature a soft calfskin upper with a classic penny bar mid-foot, and an embossed Tod’s monogram on the tongue. The suede loafers sit on a minimalist rubber outsole and are hand-stitched with a leather lining and insole. Prince George wore the Tod’s loafers in a brown suede colorway, but this silhouette is also available in black.
And while he dressed it up with a full suit and tie, the loafers can also be worn casually with jeans and a T-shirt for that coveted “European vacation” vibe.
COOLING ON THE GO
JISULIFE Handheld Portable Fan
$15.99 $19.99 20% off
The Prince’s accessory of choice? While mom Kate Middleton was seen holding a Wimbledon folding fan, George brought along a portable battery-powered fan to help him beat the London heatwave. We found a similar model on Amazon, available now for just $15. This best-selling JISULIFE handheld fan features a portable design that can slide easily into a small bag or coat pocket.
The mini fan features five speed settings and is rechargeable via USB-C. We’ve been using our JISULIFE portable fan all summer and battery life is strong, with up to 10 hours of runtime in our experience. Other reviewers are also royally-pleased with this pickup, with almost 90% of shoppers giving the JISULIFE fan a full, five-star rating on Amazon.com.
As for his suit? Prince George was said to have favored blazers from London-based children’s brand Rachel Riley as a youngster, but the 12-year-old likely has his suits custom-made these days from tailors on Saville Row.
SMART PICKUP
Banana Republic Prince of Wales Suit Jacket
$192 $320 40% off
You can pick up this similar navy blazer from Banana Republic, designed with the appropriately-named Prince of Wales pattern (also referred to as Glen plaid or Glen Urquhart check). Originating in Scotland as a sort-of houndstooth weave, the pattern got its royal nickname in the 1800s when it was worn by King Edward VII when he was Prince of Wales.
This Banana Republic blazer can be worn on its own or as part of a full suit, and features a subtle take on the Prince of Wales check, with tonal threading and finely-stitched squares. The blazer is available in men’s sizes 36 to 48 in short, regular or tall lengths (it’s currently on sale too).

Prince George also wore a navy suit during his appearance at June’s Trooping the Colour — the annual celebration and parade in honor of King Charles’ birthday. Proving that a dark blue suit is a versatile addition to any man’s closet, George paired the suit with a white shirt and light blue tie for a more formal look than his Wimbledon getup.
And the sartorial sovereign is nothing if not consistent, having sported a similar navy suit and striped tie combo at Wimbledon 2025.

The look is crisp and classic, whether seated in the Royal Box for a tennis match or seated in the conference room for meetings at work.
FAN MADE MERCH
Prince George of Wales Retro 90s T-Shirt
$23.63 $33.76 30% off
More proof of the young Royal’s fashion influence? Savvy Etsy sellers have made fan merch celebrating the Prince in all his pomp and circumstance. This T-shirt features a vintage-inspired graphic and is available in sizes small to 4XL and eight colors.
While the fan-made tee is said to be 90s-inspired, Prince George was born on July 22, 2013. That means we’ll soon be taking style cues from an official teenager.
