For the third year in a row, accessories label Susan Alexandra and activist-cum-fashion designer Rachel Antonoff are staging a runway show called Best in Show, timed to New York Fashion Week. Also for the third year in a row, they’re shining the spotlight away from A-list arrivals and notable attendees — arguing instead that the most important people in every setting are, well, our beloved pets.

Since its inception, Best in Show‘s goal has remained the same: to get dogs adopted, with the eligible furry friends strutting down the runway alongside their handlers. Crucially, both parties are outfitted in the beaded compositions of Susan Alexandra’s founder Susan Korn (think color-happy leashes affixed to more-is-more collars) as well as Antonoff’s playful, vintage-inspired silhouettes.

It’s the most wonderful place to find yourself on a mid-afternoon in early September, but in case your own four-legged companion is too busy to cheer on his up-for-adoption brethren this year, Susan Alexandra and Antonoff are coming in hot (haute?) with a solution — in the form of Best in Show’s inaugural merch collection made in partnership with Etsy, which is also the event’s official creative partner for 2026.

As of September 9, humans can use their opposable thumbs to shop the nine-piece capsule at etsy.com/featured/bestinshow. Many of the items incorporate key elements of Antonoff and Korn’s latest releases, from the patterns to the symbolism, and all of them are guaranteed to make your pooch the king — or queen — of the dog park. (Fear not: Cats aren’t forgotten.)

The Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff fashion collection for pets recruited the mastery of independent Etsy artists: each one lending their unique aesthetic and expertise to the product line. The result is an elevated and intricate assortment of charmed-up, matching collars for pets and owners; totes that look like they came straight from the Met’s American Wing (and will accommodate Fido during long subway rides); chew toys shaped, incredibly, like farfalle-printed puffer jackets (because, of course); and even a strawberry yarmulke for your observant feline.

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Pet Diaper Bag
$125
Manufactured by Kentucky-based Etsy maker 5LoavesCo, this bag promises to “carry everything your fur baby needs for their Gotcha Day and every day after.”
“There’s really no limit to the ways we want to include our pets in our lives anymore, and I say that as someone who is fully guilty of it with my own dog, Lafitte,” Antonoff shares in a press release. “We wanted to make pieces that feel special and a little playful, but that also reflect how much our pets genuinely mean to us. Seeing Etsy sellers take our ideas and bring their own craft and creativity to them made the whole thing even better.”

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Puffer Jacket Toy

Another 5LoavesCo selection, the pictured dog toy utilizes Antonoff’s instantly recognizable bowtie pasta fabric. This time, though, the intended audience can take a bite.
Lafitte Antonoff, a Jack Russell Terrier mix, has his own Instagram page, though Korn’s Pigeon, a Chihuahua, likes to keep a low profile. Both of the designers’ dogs nonetheless feature front and center in the campaign imagery for Etsy’s new Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff storefront, modeling the coquettish collars and darling headcoverings.

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Pet Collar & Necklace

One charm-laden choker for you and one for your angel. This LuckyPennyJo offering doles out the drama with its diverse motifs — like cherries, dog bones, and beyond. Canine codependency? Haven’t heard of it.
Sartorial trends might be cycling in and out at discombobulating speeds and chaotic influencers might be overtaking fashion’s front rows, but Antonoff and Korn’s pet project taps into something refreshingly timeless and heartwarming — people’s simple devotion to pets and desire to celebrate all their moments together, from the hellish days of potty training to the slower-paced morning walks 10 years in.

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Strawberry Yarmulke
$24.95
The Jewish High Holidays are fast approaching, and the smallest member of your household needs to look the part. This tiny strawberry yarmulke, hand-crocheted by DebbieCrochets of Florida, is here to help.
The duo wants to be there for the good, the bad, and the questionably smelly while sprinkling some happy-go-lucky magic over all of it.
“Rachel and I have been doing Best in Show together for three years, but we’d never actually designed a collection together,” says Korn. “Naturally, we made it for dogs, because Pigeon would expect nothing less.”

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Leash Frame
$135
Antonoff’s dog print fabric joins forces with Susan Alexandra’s signature beading as part of this leash frame — made for hanging up your pet-parent tchotchkes. (There’s even space for your child’s photo at center, a thoughtful touch by artist BartsBeads.)

Susan Alexandra x Rachel Antonoff Handmade Merino Wool Cupcake Collar
$48+
From the Etsy seller Wuulie comes this posh statement collar with pearl closure and the option of grabbing it for yourself and/or your sassy mini-me. A Merino wool makeup grants textural richness, and that black-and-white (or navy-and-white) color scheme feels pawsitively glamorous.
