Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is fast approaching (there’s less than two weeks left before it arrives on the scene, in fact), but before you can tell all your loved ones “chag sameach!” it’s important to ensure your environs are sufficiently dolled up for the occasion — especially if you plan on hosting guests this time of year.

NRF Forecasts 4.2% U.S. Holiday Sales Gains
Whether you’re a practicing Jew, a secular one who observes religious rituals from time to time, or are simply excited to play hostess for your Jewish friend group, one thing can be agreed upon: Thoughtful tablescaping and home decor are of utmost importance as the holy days commence, since so many Jewish traditions happen around the dinner table.
While the online marketplace is replete with Christmas-ready centerpieces, dinnerware, mantel adornments, and wreaths fit for the December celebrations, it can be tougher to find the Jewish equivalents of all these themed goods — especially if you’re looking for something less “under-$30 Mensch on a Bench plushie” and more “luxury mezuzah from a beloved designer to impress your dodah.” Fortunately, our shopping editors have taken the time to scour the e-shelves for you, honing in on key pieces to shop ahead of the Jewish holidays: no matter if you choose to use some as gifts or keep them for your own household.
On TikTok, you’ll find ample inspiration for effectively styling your fresh Hanukkah purchases. A quick search offers up aspirational videos of minimalist menorahs layered in with flocked garlands over a fireplace; blue-and-white tablecloths topped with tapered candles and hand-blown, blue-hued glassware; Hanukkah-coded bar arrangements; and beyond.
As with any interior design endeavor, we recommend anchoring your holiday table arrangement with one or two focal points; going for a coordinated color palette (blue and white is the most common and on-brand) that won’t overwhelm the eyes; and leaving ample space for your guests to move around, gesticulating passionately with their hands as they alternate between sipping on mulled cocktails and biting into their sufganiyot.
Then, of course, there’s always the possibility of going overboard with your decorations, which doesn’t serve anyone well.
”As a maximalist, balance is something that I struggle with,” says Rivki Berkovits Rabinowitz, a Jewish podcast host and full-time content creator with a background in interior design. “If you want to serve ‘family style,’ you have two options: Keep your tablescape more simple, or, once the dinner starts, remove some of the arrangements.”
Rivki Berkovits Rabinowitz has a penchant for creating warm gathering spaces in her home. Also considered a fashion inspiration by her fans, she uses many of the same sartorial approaches (layering; color matching; accessorizing) in her design work. Courtesy Rivki Rabinowitz
Overall, Rabinowitz urges hostesses to choose objects based on how they align with personal perceptions of the holiday. For her, it’s all about self-actualization: “taking stock of your life with gratitude and intentionality,” she tells WWD.
Ready to initiate your pre-Hanukkah shopping spree? Do so as soon as possible, since the very best finds will surely be gone for good before you know it. May all your candles burn bright!

Kate Spade New York Oak Street Kiddush Cup
$35.11 $40 12% off
Meet this “Amazon’s Choice” Kiddush Cup from the designer label better known for its sophisticated handbags — none other than Kate Spade. Made out of porcelain, with silver Hebrew script and a pink-purple base, the glass is not only a sight to behold but also integral to Shabbat ceremonies (it’s something that holds wine and is blessed with the traditional Kiddush prayer, honoring the sanctity of the day). You’ll make the most of it, then, on December 19 this year, when Shabbat and Hanukkah coincide.

Lostine Arcus Candle Light Collection Clear Maple Candle Holder, Set of 3
$230
The Festival of Lights merits bathing your interiors in soft, diffused candlelight, and there’s no better match for households that lean minimalist than this Arcus Candle Light Collection Candle Holder Set from Lostine, a lighting and home decor company whose creations are rooted in the modern American aesthetic. The fresh release boasts a unique quirk: Each piece is double-sided, with one end made for housing a taper candle and the other wide enough to accommodate a tea light. You’ll fall in love with the organic grain of the light wood here, and Lostine also offers many opportunities to mix and match the home accessories — based on the shape and quantity of them you end up getting.

With its geometric designs centered around the Star of David, as well as the metallic touches complementing all that blue, the set of eight dazzles and delights. Employ it in service of displaying all your Hanukkah appetizers proudly: from homemade falafel to those indulgent potato knishes.

James Allen Dreidel Charm in 14K Yellow Gold
$240
We know, we know — this is supposed to be a Hanukkah decor roundup, but we couldn’t stop ourselves from including a few holiday charms to help you, as the hostess, shine even brighter. This James Allen beaut is crafted out of 14-karat yellow gold but also comes with a white gold option, depending on your preferences. Whether you thread it through a bracelet or necklace chain, the tiny, diamond-embedded dreidel will prompt you to remember the reason for the season each time you catch a glimpse of it in the mirror.

Lele Sadoughi Navy Holiday Stocking
$195
This is not your typical stocking, seeing as how the bestseller from Lele Sadoughi — a fashion and accessories label specializing in vibrant, personality-rich, one-of-a-kind pieces — is made out of sumptuous velvet and is much more accommodating than its boot-style counterparts. Embellished with crystals and Star of David charms, it’s more than ready to hold all the gelt you (but more realistically your kids) will be receiving soon.

Crate & Barrel Dreidel Icon Double Old-Fashioned Glass
$15.95
Make sure your home looks coordinated to the max for Hanukkah 2025, right down to the glasses you serve all your guests’ bevys of choice in. This hand-blown top seller from Crate & Barrel is bedecked by a sprinkling of dreidels in a rich blue shade that contrasts flawlessly with the tableware essential’s glass composition. It’s also sturdy, dishwasher-safe, and something that, according to the brand, fully sold out last year. Get it now or forever hold your peace.

West Elm Star of David Napkin Rings, Set of 4
$24.50 $35 30% off
Don’t just put napkins next to each guest’s plate in preparation for a “first night of Hanukkah” soirée — adorn them with these West Elm napkin rings, taking the shape of Judaism’s most iconic symbol and composed of polished aluminum that will formalize the look of your dinner table (whether you choose to buy this set in silver, brass, or white). And if a guest ends up asking you for permission to take one home at the end of the night, so be it: These practical, on-sale decorations are just that irresistible.

LoveShackFancy Hanukkah Icon Garland
$59 $79 25% off
Can’t seem to figure out how to decorate your abode for the holiday beyond the tablescape? Invest in a garland that can hang over your front door, mantel, or bed frame — adding instant charm to each setting. The TikTok-viral brand LoveShackFancy‘s founder, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is Jewish, so of course she had to include this piece in her collection. You’ll easily fall in love with its pearl strand dotted by gold and silver menorahs, six-pointed stars, and dreidels in miniature. The garland “honors stories of resilience, joy, and tradition,” per Pottery Barn Teen, and is flanked by two chic ribbons for good measure.

Sudha Pennathur Beaded Menorah Velvet Hanukkah Box
$39
This velvet-wrapped box looks much more expensive than what it’s actually going for, coming straight from the hands of the Indian jewelry-slash-decor designer Sudha Pennathur. The magic is in the details here: from that color-happy bead embroidery making out the image of a fully lit menorah to the velvet’s ivory hue and soft underhand feel. Use the box to hold small party favors for the guests (the aforementioned gelt will do marvelously).

James Allen Star of David Lab-Grown Diamond Charm in 14K White Gold
$192 $240 20% off
Similar to the James Allen Dreidel Charm spotlighted earlier, this bauble is a must-have in any Jewish woman’s jewelry box. We don’t know what we adore more: its icy, reflective, white-gold body or that radiant diamond at center. Honor your faith while flaunting your style, all by wearing this charm either alone or as part of a larger charm bracelet equation.

Lalique x Irma Orenstein Crystal Mezuzah
$2,150
Many Jewish households have a mezuzah affixed to their doorpost, either tilted diagonally to signify Ashkenazi heritage or hung stick-straight if the family’s part of the Sephardim culture. Inviting God’s presence-plus-protection into the home, it’s a lightweight yet meaning-heavy touch that guests will witness before they even step inside. And in case you want to go the extra mile with your mezuzah for 2025, acclaimed glassmaker Lalique has paired up with Israeli architect Irma Orenstein on one made from crystal, with a satin finish that evokes an indelible, quiet-luxury feeling. Place a parchment scroll with Torah verses inside and keep it by your door year-round.

MacKenzie-Childs Judaica Mini Dinner Candles, Set of 6
$44.95
MacKenzie-Childs is best known for its maximalist tea kettles, yes, but dig a little deeper and you’ll also find an assortment of Judaica on its site, including candles and a more-is-more menorah swathed in the popular brand’s signature print. One of the most crucial parts of any tablescape, not to mention a holiday one, is tender lighting that illuminates guests’ faces as they share anecdotes and laughter. And this candle set, with a burn time of 11 hours (give or take), is a whimsical, charming way to go about it. Featuring Jewish motifs like the Star of David and dreidels, the skinny taper candles — which you should totally place inside the aforementioned candle holders from Lostine — are just the things for propping up alongside your freshly cooked latkes.

Terrain Floral Menorah
$168
Though you might already own a menorah that’s been passed down from generation to generation, you’ll be all too tempted to score Anthropologie’s take on the nine-branched object: which has a botanical theme and stays true to it through iron-slash-aluminum floral adornments that seem to reach towards the sky. Something this timeless and classic will last you forever, making it an heirloom-quality object that we recommend incorporating into your home decor no matter the season.
