Lenox Spice Village Christmas Cookie Jar
$98 $140 30% off
And just in time for the holiday season, Macy’s has this Lenox Spice Village cookie jar on sale for 30 percent off.
The hand-painted porcelain jar is beautifully decked out with festive motifs like wreaths, bows and candlelit windows, along with a snow-covered facade. This Lenox cookie jar measures 9.5 x 5.75 inches in size, with a capacity of 84 ounces (or 10.5 cups). Like the other Lenox Spice Village items above, this one comes in a box, ready for easy gifting.
Lenox Spice Village pieces almost never go on sale, so you’ll want to take advantage of the Macy’s discount while it’s live. Macy’s says the items are selling quickly, so make sure to add to cart while the Spice Village sets are still in stock. What we like: the Macy’s sale gets you the units for even cheaper than the Lenox website.
From tableware brand Lenox, the Lenox Spice Village originally debuted in 1989 as a monthly subscription series, with a different mini porcelain house arriving each month. The series was discontinued in the mid-90s but was revived in late 2024, thanks to a new generation of home decor enthusiasts discovering the sets on social media and resale sites like eBay, where first-edition sets are still hard to come by. The 2024 set sold out quickly when it was first released, but it’s back in stock now for a limited time.
This second-edition set is “as lovely and whimsically nostalgic as the 1989 originals,” per a description, with “two dozen unique and picturesque miniature Victorian homes. Crafted in fine ivory porcelain and painstakingly hand-painted with details inspired by the spices they’re meant to hold, the jars are as functional as they are fun.”
