The French restaurant, Maxim’s de Paris, has had a long held association with the fashion industry, dating back to its early beginnings in the late 1800s as a haunt for creative types in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement.
Over the years, everyone from Brigitte Bardot to Barbra Streisand has walked through the doors of the famed dining institution, with its iconic red facade that welcomes guests into a moody room of velvet banquettes, beveled mirrors and classic French dishes like steak au poivre and filet de canard. The late designer, Pierre Cardin, meantime, famously acquired Maxim’s in 1981 and took over as owner, while introducing a line of evening wear, dishware and home decor inspired by the space.

Maxim’s continues to be a destination for the stylish set today, with A-listers like Naomi Campbell, Sharon Stone and Bad Bunny all having frequented the hotspot in recent years. Unsurprisingly, it’s still one of the hardest reservations in town.
But you don’t have to be in Paris to get a taste of Maxim’s anymore. Macy’s — yes, that Macy’s — has an entire collection of sweet treats inspired by the restaurant, and they’re all available to buy online in the U.S. The official collection features handmade chocolates, biscuits and pastries from the chefs at Maxim’s de Paris, all carefully packaged and ready to ship.
Designed for gifting, the treats are beautifully presented in elegant gift boxes inspired by Maxim’s red exterior and other Parisian motifs. Three new items from Maxim’s de Paris have arrived at Macy’s too, just in time for the holidays.
