If you’re like us, two things are currently taking over your end-of-summer feeds: the Jet2holidays theme song and the actual Euro Summer holidays taken by A-listers like Kendall plus Kylie Jenner (their Saint-Tropez escape was true vision board material) and Dua Lipa, who’s been spotted everywhere from Spain to Southern Italy. While the social media snapshots of these stars’ sun-kissed vacations have granted no shortage of summertime outfit inspiration — from breezy linen dresses and the best swimwear to stunning pendant necklaces — they’ve also likely left you dreaming about channeling this year’s crowning aesthetic, “Italian-slash-Mediterranean Girl Summer,” in your own cozy abode.

The Art of Gifting Well: 21 Luxury Christmas Gifts for Men Who Appreciate the Finer Things
Crisp cotton cover-ups and color-happy headscarves may leave our wardrobe rotation once the weather turns cool, but vibrant homeware like kitchen textiles and artful accent pieces can elevate our interiors year-round. Picture it: September rolls around, your windows are cracked open, light is flooding your living room, and newly purchased must-haves are brightening your home from the inside out while keeping any trace of seasonal depression at bay. Thanks to Nordstrom’s secret section of Italian summer–inspired home decor picks, you can start setting the tone in your space now. Amidst bestsellers from high-end brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, LaDouble J, and Matouk, you’ll discover everything you need here to make each of your rooms a little more bellissima.

Weren’t able to go on your own “Roman Holiday” this year? Channel the vibes anyways through Nordstrom’s new “Italian Summer” home decor section, replete with everything from scalloped patio umbrellas to aprons worthy of your stellar cooking. Courtesy Manufacturers
Nordstrom’s newest home arrivals manage to ace multiple competing decor trends at once beyond the one that evokes scenes from “Call Me by Your Name.” There are drinking glasses to be found with touches of butter yellow — one of designers’ most-favored hues this year — as well as fisherman aesthetic–coded finds (a breakout style highlighted in the Pinterest Predicts 2025 report) and food-centric favorites for showing off your playful, always-hungry side. But the central, unifying theme is definitely “getaway to the Italian Riviera,” which has been shown love through millions of views and thousands of likes on TikTok: as users continue gushing over vignettes of lemon trees, painted mosaics lining city streets, placid turquoise waters, and zooming Vespas.
You’ll also notice that a majority of the below Nordstrom pieces are heavy-handed when it comes to prints, whether it be Dolce & Gabbana’s signature “Blu Mediterraneo” or florals embedded in teal that will make you wish to be teleported to the island of Capri, Hugo spritz in hand. Intricate patterns, too, reigned supreme on fall 2025 runways, further making the case for putting your fresh buys to good use in the next few months and beyond. Prada and Louis Vuitton both layered in optimistic, flowery, and verdant designs in their collections, contrasting with fur-clad outerwear, dark frocks, and formal skirt suit coordinates. Givenchy took a similar route — signaling that polka dots and animal prints aren’t the only things to look out for this upcoming season, by spotlighting embroidered white blooms, birds, and branches on its runway.
We’re here to say, loud and proud, that “Italian Girl Summer” isn’t dead yet, and who says you can’t turn it into “Italian Girl Fall” (just as you might repurpose your favorite bikini top as a layer under a blazer come autumn)? If Nordstrom’s oh-so-Italian home category is any indication, breezy, relaxed decor will never not be in style. Shop it all here, then say grazie mille.

Dolce & Gabbana Blu Mediterraneo Accent Pillow
$545
Featuring an intense blue, this D&G statement pillow will breathe life into modern-and-minimalist home settings: looking especially impactful on a cream-colored sofa swathed in bouclé. Made of 100-percent cotton, it can be spot- or dry-cleaned should you accidentally leave traces of bruschetta, vino rosso, or your favorite red lipstick on the front. Guests will ooh and aah at the sight of the pillow, which is capable of wordlessly signifying its owner’s high tastes and leaving a lasting impression.

Matouk Linen Apron
$125
Founded in 1929, Matouk is a family-owned brand specializing in high-end linens, and our editors are particular fans of its luxury bedding. Now, you can extend the Matouk treatment to your cooking routine, with this cheery and sophisticated apron created in collaboration with the textile giant Schumacher. Its 100-percent linen composition is breathable as can be, even if you position yourself directly in front of a scorching-hot stove, the adjustable neck strap accommodates your proportions, and the deep pockets can house either spatulas or the bottle opener guests keep asking for: your call.

Vietri Fico Pasta Bowl
$76
Figs are a quintessential symbol of warm-weather abundance and the Mediterranean climate, so this made-in-Italy pasta bowl is bound to make your dining table instantly sweeter each time you use it for elaborate feasts or intimate, family-style get-togethers. Earthy tones, from purple to green, are painted onto its white stoneware surface — beckoning you to take a bite and join in all the indulgent conversations that ensue. Use it to house strands of spaghetti drowned in vodka sauce or a carefully laid out spread of prosciutto and, dare we suggest, actual, ripe figs.

Jonathan Y Tracy Scalloped Patio Umbrella With UV Protection
$207
There’s no rule against continuing to take full advantage of your outdoor space once summer turns to fall, and Jonathan Y’s Tracy Scalloped Patio Umbrella will make the experience an elegant affair indeed. Its coral-pink canvas benefits from the kind of scallop edges that bedeck summer 2025’s trendiest dress styles, but it’s not all looks either. When it comes to functionality, the umbrella delivers in spades through a resilient aluminum frame that can stand up to late-evening gusts, a wind vent for proper air circulation, an auto-tilt mechanism for positioning the shade just where you want it, and UV protection that will go hand in hand with your daily facial sunscreen.

Vietri Limoni Pitcher
$140
Lemons are one of today’s prevailing food motifs across fashion and home decor, and you can savor their zesty joie de vivre by grabbing this lemon-themed, earthenware pitcher that can hold up to 72 ounces of your go-to bevvy — be it homemade lemonade, sangria, or mid-morning mimosas for living large. Both dishwasher- and microwave-safe, it’s going to become an easy addition to your every meal. Our recommendation? Place it front and center on the table and surround with actual lemons for the ultimate centerpiece moment.

You’ll never see the inside of a Starbucks again after you witness its fashionable magic.

Now, you can take your charcuterie hobby to the next level with Verve Culture’s Olivewood Charcuterie Board: ground zero for an appetizer that will stun and delight everyone at the dinner party. Made by Italian artisans, each board looks unlike the next because of olivewood’s unique grain patterns and shapes.
